Oxford University Press (OUP) is a department of Oxford University. It furthers the University's objective of excellence in research, scholarship, and education by publishing worldwide. OUP is the world's largest university press. It publishes more than 4,500 new books and over 180 peer reviewed journals a year. As a department of the University, the Press shares its status as a charity - it has no shareholders. Any financial surplus is applied in the pursuit of the educational and scholarly objectives of the University and its Press, either through reinvesting in publishing or transferring funds to the rest of the University.

OUP has had an active journal-publishing programme since the start of the last century, and is a leader in electronic journal publishing, with nearly 15 years experience. Oxford Journals publishes journals across a wide range of disciplines, many of these titles belonging to learned societies.

ADM-HEA is the Higher Education Academy Subject Centre for Art, Design and Media.
Supporting and developing learning and teaching in art, design, media, history of art and the history of design in higher education.

Events: We organise, support, and disseminate information about a range of events designed to enhance the student experience in art, design and media subjects often in collaboration with subject associations and other professional bodies. Activities range from regional workshops to national seminars and conferences.

Projects: We develop, support and fund collaborative research and development projects. The Subject Centre provides funding for small projects within colleges and universities and contributes to larger scale projects in collaboration with national agencies.
Resources: To supplement research and development projects, we draw on the experience and creativity of colleagues to develop a collection of resource reviews, case studies, and pedagogic research.
